First we have the goad; for us a symbol of divine protection! for our enemy's and those who would bring harm, a weapon of which Lord Ganesh will use to ward off and push our enemy's into more auspicious directions away from bringing harm unto us. The Noose; a symbol of Lord Ganesh's power to bind and snare! binding us to auspicious paths and binding our obstacles so they can do no harm. as well as to bind our enemy's and those who would bring harm and to release obstacles upon them! The Trident Bindi or Tilak; is a symbol of Lord Ganesh's power to destroy as well as create and to maintain order! it is also a symbol of his Father Lord Shiva of Whom Lord Ganesh is a ardent Devotee!
